The konwerter program

Welcome to the hompage of the konwerter - free program for automatic numbering of compounds in chemical publications.

Welcome at the konwerter webpage. Here you can read how to use konwerter program that helps with writing publication using LaTeX. It was written by Piotr Wawrzyniak in C++ language. At present it works only on POSIX operating systems like Linux and the BSD (FreeBSD, OpenBSD and NetBSD) family. The Windows operating system is not supported.

The fact, that I haven't found any bugs yet, doesn't mean that they don't exist. Any bugreports and proposal of changes are welcome. Just email me.

I would like to thank Dr Karol Grela, from Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, for support and interesting discussions about konwerter.

After really long time, some update here. In the examples section finally appeared some examples. Now you do not need to download source code to see how wonderfull software konwerter is ;).

The new version 0.2.4 released. See download section.

Changes:
- In this version finally blank characters (space, tab) before %?plik{ are ignored.

The new version 0.2.3 released. See download section.

Changes:
- Corrected bug in broken eps handling. Now konwerter prints info about such a eps.
- Corrected bug in numbering using Roman numbers

The new 0.2.2 version of converter was published. See the download section.

Changes:
- New option -t (--test) added. Using it one can test if there are unresolved labels without files changing.
- Updated email addresses and spelling corrections

There appeared the new program in compatibility list - BKchem. Take a look at it.

The new 0.2.1 version of konwerter was published. See the download section.

Changes:
- Language support. At present program recognizes LANG variable.
- Default language is English
- Small changes in commandline analyzis
- The files created by komwerter called at present filename.auto.tex
- New switch %--set-d-to was added.
